Ya for National Quilting Day. I am planning on organizing my quilting space, or should I say tidy up, and if time remains, load a quilt on the longarm. Lots of ideas so little time. Quilt on LOL

Thanks for the comments everyone, June please send me your email and address and we'll get your prize to you soon.

In honour of your "organizing" I've put a new post up with a link to a friend blogger who is decluttering/organizing...thanks everyone...until next time!!

Glad to have an excuse to visit your site again, Rhonda! I'm going to celebrate National Quilting Day by a) visiting thrift stores to look for vintage pieces (doilies, embroidery, lace), for a class I'm taking next Saturday, and b) finishing the quilting and binding on my Windowpanes quilt!

Have a great day yourself!

Attending a Quilt show where I can see the quilts of some of my first Quilting Friends and a few of my current Quilty friends. Got my Quilty tote, shirt, socks and earrings on! Hope those fabrics don't jump too fast into the tote today!

I have spent my National Quilt day putting away things I purchased on my vacation to Vancouver Island. Some Fat 1/4's (only 15-they sure add up fast) a beautiful pattern relating to BC, a new clover two in one grabber/thimble, I love it. Another yo-yo maker-this one is a flower, finshed abt 1 1/2", a thimble from Craigdaroch Castle in Victoria.....I also looked thru some quilt magazines & books. Sorted some fabric & things in my quilt room.....did some laundry, talked to friends/family on the phone....all in all it was a really great day!
